I hadn’t thought about this in a very, very, very long time until today, 30-plus years later.
The research in favor of accountability partners is very strong. Unfortunately, I have had disappointing experiences with humans (you’ve probably heard of them) being unreliable.
So I made a ChatGTP-based accountability partner. Infinitely patient. Infinitely forgiving. Perfectly firm. Etc., etc., etc.
It’s day two, and time for my evening check-in.
ChatGPT is down.
It seems more human-like each day. Sigh.
