An Accountant No More

Viya’s Journey

Viya was one of the founders attending Founder Institute.

She had invented the unskirt — a skirt that was functional in the way that men’s slacks are.

Every woman I showed her materials to wanted one.

Every man I showed them to didn’t understand, failing to see the differentiation, the importance, or both.

I knew she would succeed.

I didn’t know how she had gotten here, how she had become a founder. To me, her story of deciding to leave accounting is as inspiring as it is instructive.

Strongly suggested (I am in no position to require anything of anyone) reading, especially for those who haven’t yet made a large new year’s resolution.
