Cure It Foundation’s 3rd Annual Golf Outing

The Cure It Foundation is excited to bring together friends and supporters at its annual golf outing May 18, at Water’s Edge Golf Course in Worth, Illinois.

A highlight of this event is the ceremonial tee-off, where survivors of childhood cancer will kick off the outing. The event will include a raffle and silent auction with exciting items to win, including a 2013 Chicago Blackhawks stick signed by the whole team, four (4) Platinum box tickets to a Chicago White Sox game, women’s golf clubs with golf bag and more.

To honor survivors of pediatric cancer, the Cure It Foundation invites you to join us, as we raise money to support those affected by this horrible disease. The golf outing will take place on May 18 at Water’s Edge Golf Course – 7205 West 155th Street, Worth, IL, 60482. Registration begins at 12:00 pm and the Ceremonial Tee-Off will be at 1:20 pm.

“Less than 5 percent of federal funding for cancer research is dedicated to childhood cancer,” says Co-Founder of the Cure It Foundation, Jason Canner. “The annual golf outing brings children and families in our community together, while also promoting a great cause. We are really excited about the golf outing this year, and can’t wait to see everyone out on the links.”

Cancer is the most common cause of death by disease for children and adolescents in America. “Your child has cancer” are words a parent should never have to hear. Unfortunately, pediatric cancer is a reality for many of our local families. The goal of the Cure It Foundation is to raise necessary funds to support pediatric cancer research and our local children and families affected by this disease. Join us in supporting this cause at our 3rd Annual Golf Outing! Together we will face it, fight it, and CURE IT!
