I care more about humans than about pigs

In the United States, more than 120 million pigs are killed each year for food.

This doesn’t bother me.

Perhaps it should, but it doesn’t.

A human is alive now because he has received the heart from a pig. I expect this will be replicated. Each replication is a saved life.

I celebrate this. There is no way in Hell it is going to bother me. I was amazed when the most of comments on LinkedIn were opposed to this miracle.

When we stop eating pigs, then maybe I’ll be ready to listen. I expect that I will still vehemently disagree, but until then I’m not ready to listen.

Every 17 people in the United States die each day never receiving the organ they need.

Today’s gratitude and baby animal picture goes to organ donors. If you are haven’t filled out your organ donation card (often available from your Department of Motor Vehicle), then we can include you in today’s gratitude as well.
