Of Viruses and Bullets

It takes great courage to be a police officer.

A level of courage (and skill) that I can't imagine ever personally having.

According to CBS News, in 2021, was the leading cause of death in the line of service for police officers.

Not bullets. Not traffic accidents. Not anything else. Covid.

Proper use of masks, vaccines, and test kits helps keep our police officers, other first responders, and the world at large safe.

Pretending Covid isn't real, pretending masks don't work, or pretending vaccines aren't effective doesn't protect them.

Such lies unnecessarily put our police at risk

Today's and go to our police and other first responders.

And to everyone who takes steps to help protect them.
