Pitching — Adapt Don’t Die

Make each mistake only once

I watched a long-form practice pitch today and talked to presenting CEO afterwards.

I had dozens (and dozens, and dozens) of comments about things that investors would find confusing or problematic.

After each every comment I made, they responded, “That’s just what the investors …” (note the plural) “… have been saying.”

If several (in this case, many) investors have been telling you about particular problems, please fix them before you present investors.
