As is true most days, yesterday, I spent too much time generating (or searching for cover art) for my LinkedIn posting.
Whether it is with my own prompt generator for Dall-E or browsing through Unsplash,
Quite often, there are images that bring me real joy.
Yesterday was not unusual in that respect.
But, yesterday also brought me more frustration than usual. A big measure more frustration.
I ultimately used the image in the upper left for my “Accused of being a bot” article.
But, I found an almost perfect inverse correlation between what I liked and what was appropriate to the article.
This led me to thinking…
- Is my image browsing & generation a hobby (or two hobbies) really unrelated to my writing?
- Is it a hobby that could bring a lot of people joy?
- Could scrolling such images be better for people than scrolling social media if jealousy-laden things like selfies were excluded?
Perhaps time to stop writing text and start writing a tiny bit of code.
