The Hazards of the Night Notebook

I have previously written about how I use a night to capture ideas rather than having them keep me up at night or lure me to a computer terminal that would keep me awake (perhaps even productively) until well past sunrise.

Given the level of , I fear that I must warn everyone of the hazards of using a night notebook which you can then write of as just being , or you may count as an unacceptable risk.

I fear that these notes without immediately beginning on the article may lead to a lower quality article. Without the notebook, I would generally either grab a computer to write the article or else compose it in its entirety, commit it to memory and transcribe it later.

This article was written from notes rather than directly. I'd value feedback as to whether that one is better, worse, or simply different than the typical article.
