Once upon a time, way back in distant memory, I used to use search engines and get links to pages where I could read useful information.

Now, I can’t even find the links to the pages hidden in and among the ads on the search engine page.

And even if I get to the page, I can’t find the information hidden in and among the ads.

When I used a chatbot nine times out of ten, it was not because of inference, natural language, or anything futuristic.

Rather, it returns me to a time long past when the web worked.
