February 29th, 2012 – Whitney Reynolds, star and host of hit weekly talk show on NBC Chicago Nonstop’s “Weekends With Whitney” has saved one of the best show lineups for her show’s one year anniversary. This anniversary special will feature a special concert event taped live April 6th 2012 at Chicago’s famous Joe’s on Weed.
The hour-long special will have ‘That girl’ famed Kevin Fowler, whose music is described as “country with a bad attitude” playing at the event along with award-winning Texas country singer and songwriter, Roger Creager.
“We are so excited about approaching our one year anniversary. We could not do it without all of our fans, supporters, and the amazing team at NBC here in the Chicago. With my Texas roots, we are going to be celebrating all the south has to offer right here in Chicago. From the music and food, all the way to the style and of coarse, the barbecue,” commented show host Whitney Reynolds.
W3, continues its undisputed climb on popularity charts after being picked up by NBC Chicago Nonstop last year in April to a potential audience of 3.5 million. The show originally airs on Saturday and Sunday at 12 p.m. CST on NBC Chicago Nonstop (Digital 5.2) channel and it is rebroadcasted on Saturday 6 p.m. CST.
Whitney’s experience in multiple formats in major markets has been attributed to the show’s success in Chicago. W3’s cross of live studio audience and on location shoots has brought a fresh approach to its viewers.
