I got a request this morning from a founder asking me to let them know how I can support them.
I have no idea what their plan is, where they are on it, or what obstacles they are trying to overcome.
I can best support you by helping you to ask better questions.
At first I thought there could only one answer, “I can best support you by helping you to ask better questions.”
But then I looked back in my notes. Six weeks ago, I had told him that there was one particular issue in his business plan that gave me pause. Sufficient pause that until it was resolved, I couldn’t make any introductions, or encourage him to put any additional time, attention or other resources into his project. I hadn’t heard from him since then.
So in fact I can do better. I can best support him by reminding him of that. Perhaps by resending the recording of our zoom session where we spent the entire hour talking about this one issue.
