The Hazards of Unreal Relationships

Broderick, the brontosaurus, was looking to start a vegan vittles company and listed me as an adviser.  Unsurprisingly Broderick, saw me as a brother as he felt like he was a brother to everyone, and, on one occasion, I had given him advice that velociraptors were unlikely to be in his target demographic.

Although the fundamentals of his business were strong, even without the velociraptors market, he didn’t get funded. During , when I ask, I told them about this one crucial advisement I had given him. The investors were worried if that was all it took to be listed on the page, that it might take similarly little to be listed in other contexts where folks were too polite to honestly answer questions. They passed.

The last time I was shopping, I didn’t see any Broderick Vegan Vittles Company’s yummies on my grocery store shelves. That’s too bad because his yummies were indeed yummy.
