In the United States, partnered sex of all kinds among all demographics is on the decline.
There is a lot of speculation as to why, some of it more and some less plausible.
Among the serious speculations that I had not considered is the idea that people are declining to participate in sex they find unpleasant.
The self-esteem to say “No”
If people have the courage, sense, and most of all, the self-esteem to say “No” to sex in the context of a long-term relationship, perhaps we can say “No,” to unpleasant Zoom meetings. Especially recurring, pointless, dumb Zoom meetings. (Perhaps I'll stick with saying “unpleasant.”)
Would it be tacky if I tacked this link onto the meetings I'm skipping?
